Gateway problem

Hi powerBI community,

I have 2 gateways runnning for multiple sources of data and therefore reporting. 

1 = online

1 = on premises gateway.

Now I have a new data set which is an API connection via powerBI connector option. Data file is setting up & running properly, as I am able to refresh my report manually. 

But now I want to schedule automated refreshes on this data set as well. If I am linking the source of the powerBI connector file of the API to one of my gateways, I am not able to make it work. 

2 questions;

1. I am in doubt what file type to use (it seems that source BI connector should be the one correct)?
2. the connector file is on my own laptop, so I assume to set this filepath to the source location. 

If doing so, I get the following error:

Online I can find the following input as well

I dont see this option appear on my end, while chosen this selection in the gateway. 

Hope someone can give me a push into the right direction here.. thank you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

What datasource you are using? If you are using custom connector you could check the My Custom Connector. If not, you need to check the corresponding connector.
