Gateway power bi

Hello, I have a question about the power bi gateway.

I already know how to install and configure the power bi gateway, both on the windows desktop and in power bi service. but I would like to know if once you made all the configurations, is it necessary to keep the browser (with power bi service logged) open, or is there no problem in the operation if I close it?

As long as the Data gateway software/service is running in the background, you are good to close any thing else except the laptop service.
