When in Chrome viewing a gantt chart I don't have a scroll bar like I do in Internet Explorer. It is cutting off the labels for the task. Is there a setting I can do in Chrome to fix this issue?
you may want to address that question to the developer of the visual.
I am the developer. I just need to know why they act differently and if there is way for me to fix it so I can see a scroll in Chrome.
Hi @tdrice42 ,
Maybe it is a compatibility issue. Will the scroll bar appear when you use the Edge browser?
You can try to contact the Power BI visuals support team at pbicvsupport@microsoft.com.
Or if it is very urgent, we suggest you to open a ticket here for help: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Checked in Microsoft Edge and the scroll bar does not appear there either. The scroll bar only appears in Internet Explorer.
Hi @tdrice42 ,
Do you view it in a dashboard or a report in Power BI Service?
We have a test, the Gantt chart has the scroll bar in Chrome. This is the version of our Power BI Desktop. If you are not the latest version, please update to the latest version and try again.
Maybe you can manually change the width of the Gantt chart to display all data.

This is not in the Desktop version it is in Chrome.
Hi @tdrice42 ,
Did you use Publish to web or just open the report on Power BI Service in the Chrome?
If you open it on Power BI Service in the Chrome, we just have a test that the Gantt chart has the scroll bar. Please refer to the second screenshot in the previous reply.

I publish to the Web version.
Hi @tdrice42 ,
We have a test and there is a scroll bar in Chrome and Edge.
You can clear the cache and try again in Chrome. Or you can open a new incognito window.
If it doesn’t meet your requirement, we suggest you to open a ticket here for help: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
