Gantt Chart 2.2.3 - Tool Tip Not Appearing

Hello,

I placed the Start and Finish Date in the Tool Tip Field but nothing is appearing when I click (or hover over) the task bar in the gantt.  Not even a black box. Is there trick Im missing to turn it on?

Hi Everyone, 

Am facing a weird issue with the Gantt 2.2.3 visual. As per my project requirement, i should be able to use the embed report in a web application. But when we are trying to access the report in a browser, i see that tooltip is moving to the left hand top corner of the page. (refer below screenshot). Can someone provide your inputs why it is behaving like this.

this is hard to answer, as at my end I do see tooltips. Can you share your .pvix file?

I cannot share this particular file. Let me see what happens it I put it in a new file with phoney data..

Can I remove the time from the start and finish dates? The data is already formated to only be Date (mm/dd/yyyy).

It is possible.

If your [startdatetime] has date and time, you can get date only below:

create a calculated column:

[startdatetime].[Date]

Hi @Katie_L ,

Just wanted to check on which Gantt chart you are using. Can you please provide some screesnhots?

When I use Gantt bar Chart, and if I add anythign to a tooltip, it is visisble while I hover over it.

Just check your data, if the values are there or not.
