Gantt 2.2.3 Formatting (Project scrolling through timeline & Column width)

Hi,

I have 2 questions

1. Is it possible to keep the timeline separate from the project section so they do not scroll through the timeline?

2. No matter what column width I choose for the project names the Jan is always touching the line, is there a way to give it some padding there?

Thank you

Hi @MattYao2 ,

I checked the settings options in the Format panel of the Gantt chart and there is no option to adjust the task and date label spacing. You can add a project slicer so that the Gantt chart only shows the projects you want to see, avoiding scrolling down to see them.

Hi @MattYao2 ,

I created a Gantt visual (2.2.3) as below screenshot and didn't have that problem you mentioned. The Power BI Desktop version I am using is 2.102.845.0 64-bit (February 2022). What is the version of your Power BI Desktop? Are you using the same Gantt visual as me? In order to make troubleshooting, can you share me with the Fields pane settings of your Gantt visual and some sample data applied to your Gantt visual? Thank you.

Hi yingyinr,

Sorry for the late response. I should have had a zoomed out picture. The problem only exists when scrolling.
