GLOBAL_ALLOCATION_LIMIT Power BI with SAP HANA Calculation View

Hi Guys,

I am getting below error while trying to connect to HANA database with a Calculation View on Direct Query mode and it is failing with memory allocation error.

We discovered that with 150 columns we don't have this error, but with 155 columns it throws it.

Could anyone suggest what can be done from Power BI to increase that limit?

Regards,

I think this is not an error. Powerbi has limitations on the amount of data connected in DQ mode and requires more memory.

You can try this: "Get data" -> "SAP HAHA database" -> Type your server name -> open "Advance options" and type SQL statements to filter data.

If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.

    Best Regards

Thank you, we've tried all the options and it doesn't fix the error.

Using import mode it works perfect.
