GA4 Connector - How to make a relationship between Date and Page information?

Hi all, 

I've been working on a GA4 datamodel by using the standard Google Analytics beta 2.0 connection. I would like to create overviews like: Date-PageTitle-ScreenPageViews- BounceRate...ect or connect the data via a star-schema. Creating the datamodel is pretty standard, but combining Date and Page doesn't seem to work. I've tried various combinations like Date-FullPageURL, Year-month,Landingspage or Date-PageTitle.

Is there a known workaround to connect Date and Page data, favourably one that doesn't use third-party-apps?

I ran into that evaluating issue as well and I found this solution.

Basically add a custom column that is not text and then convert it to text. That worked in my case.

Awesome, now works for me. For any ppl getting the same problem as me, these are the steps i've taken:

1. Choose the combination of metrics and dimensions via the Google Analytics 2.0 Connector

2. Pick Transform data

3. Make a Custom Column and insert the Date field

4. Create and the data loads!

What specific issue do you have? Are you referring to combining page and date data in your query or something different?

Hey jgeddes,

The specific issue that I have is that i cannot seem to make a connection between the date and pageinformation data like LandingsPage, PageTitle, ect. To give you an example, when chosing the fields Date, PageTitle and ScreenPageViews via the Google Analytics Connector I can see a preview of the data I want, but it doesnt load into Power BI, it just keeps Evaluating forever.

So now i built two seperate datamodels, one by using Date as a unique value and another one by using pagetitle as a unique value. I was wondering if someone knows a way to connect those two together. This doesnt seem to load..
