Future dates showing in chart when future dates do not exist in the table.

Hello, I have a chart I am displaying with the Date on the X-axis and a aggregated value (from a measure) on the y-axis.  I am using a Date table for my date.  The current date is 9/5/24.  Date Table DAX is = CALENDAR(MIN(TRDT)-30,TODAY()+1), where TRDT represents the transaction date column I am using for my table.  When reviewing the output of the date table, dates show as expected with the maximum date being 9/6/24.  When displaying this in the chart below, dates for Q4, 2024 show up even though there is no data for that time period and it is in the future.  I can set a visual filter to filter out the month, for example, and I can remove December, and December will be removed from all years.  But when I try to set an Advanced Filter to remove everything prior to today, it does not affect the visual.  What could be causing this to show up when no dates are in the table?  And is there a way to exclude them?

I have tried a calculated column, but because the future dates do not exist in the table, it does not affect them.

@lowdman87 , make sure you have not used the option "Show Item with no Data" on right click on date hierarchy

ShowItemwithoutdata.JPG

Or you can have measures to control

Remove outside range  =
var _min = minx(ALLSELECTED(Table), Table[Date])
var _max = maxx(ALLSELECTED(Table), Table[Date])
return
if(max('Date'[Date])>=_min && Max('Date'[Date]) <=_max, [Your Measure] BLANK())

Thanks.  I did not have the "Show items with no data" checked, but the measure did resolve my issue.  Thank you.
