Hello,
This is my first post. Forgive me if there is a better way to seek information, but I cannot find anyone else speaking about a challenge I am encountering. I've created a significant report via Power BI desktop, Version: 2.74.5619.862 64-bit (October 2019). My data set has many measures, dax-created columns, etc. Everything operates as I expect except for one aspect. I cannot make a funnel visualization filter or highlight other visualizations on its same page. I use the "edit interactions" visual tool and can see that each icon is selected on the other visuals. "Drilling filters other visuals" is checked--and it seems I cannot uncheck it even if I wanted to do so. Then, when I click on any item within the funnel, that item selects and highlights, but no other items on the page are affected. I have no such problem with ANY other visualization type--only the funnel seems to malfunction. More, clicking on other visualizations on the page filters the funnel without issue. That one-way filter interaction success only vexes me further. I have tried to troubleshoot via various approaches. I have made no progress. Thank you for any insight you may offer. I appreciate your time and consideration. -Adam

Thank you for your comment, Qiuyun Yu. I appreciate your assistance. That form of "edit interactions" troubleshooting was something I had utilized in my exploration of this challenge. Alas, that wasn't the problem.
I submitted a ticket and spoke with a Microsoft team member today. My issue is addressed and I was at fault. She helped me realize my error. I was creating funnel visualizations using only values, forgoing any "group." In order for a funnel to filter other visuals, both group and value fields must be utilized.
Yes, it's appropriate to close it. Thank you.
Hi @adam_hohman,
Glad to hear the issue is resolved now. May I close this thread?
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

Hi @adam_hohman,
Please turn on Edit Interactions then select the Funnel chart, ensure the Filter icon is ON in other visuals which you would like to pass filters to.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
