Full Outer Join on calculated Table

Hi,

I have created a table - Table A using the summarize function.

I want to apply a full outer join between Table A and Table B. However when i go to Edit Queries->Merge Queries I am unable to see this table. Hence unable to change the joing type.

@prabha81088,

Do you mean you cannot get the table from the drop down list? I have tested it, I can see all the tables in the current dataset. In your scenario, please try to open a new Power BI Desktop project and import table A and B to check if you can see this table in merge page.

If this issue persists, could you please share your PBIX file, so that we can make further analysis.

Regards,

Charlie Liao

Hi,

You are right I am unable to view this table in the drop down list.

Please note that I have not imported this table, but created it dynamically using summarize function on another table. Hope this helps.
