Hello all,
I have a source as follows :
Category | Subcategory | Product | Sales |
Bike | Road | R1 | 10 |
Bike | Road | R2 | 10 |
Bike | Road | R3 | 10 |
Bike | Road | R4 | 10 |
Bike | Mountain | M1 | 10 |
Bike | Mountain | M2 | 10 |
Bike | Mountain | M3 | 10 |
Car | Family | F1 | 10 |
Car | Family | F2 | 10 |
Car | Solo | S1 | 10 |
Car | Solo | S2 | 10 |
I've manuallly created a hierarchy in PowerBI : Category -> Subcategory -> Product
Then I set it as segment in my page.
The behaviour expected is when I select in the segment :
- Bike, my table shows the next level Subcategory and the sales linked
Subcategory | Sales |
Road | 40 |
Mountain | 40 |
- Road, my table shows the next level product and the sales linked
Product | Sales |
R1 | 10 |
R2 | 10 |
R3 | 10 |
Thank you for your help
Hi @pbiuser0000 ,
According to your needs, you can create a matrix visual. It has a good hierarchical structure. I did a test, the reference is as follows:

Dear Heny,
Thank you for your answer but it's not what I expect.
It's like whatever I select in the segment, my table has to display only the next level of my hierarchy.
Below some examples :
If i select in the segment, the category Bike, my table displays the next level subcategory -> Mountain and Road.
If i select in the segment, the category Car, my table displays the next level subcategory -> Family and Solo
If i select in the segment, the subcategory Mountain, my table displays the next level product -> M1, M2 and M3
Thanks for your help
Regards
