Hi, Caroline_92 ,
actually ,just today, Microsoft released new version of PBI Desktop where there's a nice slicer, probably exactly as what you need.

Caroline_92 Yes, just click the 3 dots and select Search and you will enable this feature.
Yeah, okay. I know that function works, but the problem is that if I search for something where I get many values, like maybe 40-50, then it's a troublesome to have to click in all of them to be able to select them all. It's not possible to mark them all there so it's a bit of a shame. It won't be as user-friendly.

Caroline_92 Understanable.
If your default choice is to click overwhelming amount of options in slicer, perhaps, some categories would be nice.
You can create something similar, like you would categorize the stuff by what you would normally type and use that for slicer. And then have another with specific options to further adjust it.
Something like
value |category
ABC | AAGD | A
BC | B
etc- Caroline_921 year agoFrequent Visitor
Thanks for your reply, I will look into the possibilities of maybe creating some categories based on what searches are made.
