Formular bar not showing for existing measures (Direct Connection)

Greetings.

Whenever I click on one of my existing measures, the formula bar should show up, allowing me to edit the code.
This does not happen. At the same time, I cannot find any other way to open the formula bar, save by creating a new measure.
However, if I do that and then click on an existing measure, the formula bar dissapears again.

I read about a similar issue with the nov. 23 update, but I cannot see anything later than that.
Is the issue still not fixed? I use this version: 2.126.927.0 64-bit (februar 2024) (danish language for the month name)

Regards,

Cerwan

This is beyond annoying. I have the same issue and cannot find anything to resolve it. I took an easy project on me with a short deadline and I cannot re-use measures or view them for references! The amount of stress the issue created is beyond comprehension!

You can try reinstalling PowerBI Desktop and see if the problem is resolved.

Hello @Idrissshatila

I've attached a screenshot, where I've clicked on a measure. As you can see, no formula bar is showing up.
Incidentally, I was mistaken. I'm using import mode, not Direct Query. (The data source says DirectQuery to AS, but it's been changed to import, since I also use some sharepoint lists as sources).

Were you able to solve the issue? I have the same problem using a legacy report in Import Mode.
