Formatting specific rows in Matrix

Hello everyone,

I have built up an income statement in a Matrix visual and I am now trying to apply some formating on some specific rows.

For exemple, I want the entire line (both measure and value) revenues, gearing etc. to be bold or in a certain color.

I've searched in the format visual section but I was only able to apply the formating on the revenues measure and not the value in front (for example)...

Thank you in advance for your help

  • Hello! I would do the following:

    • Create an explicit measure for each item listed in 'Income Statement' field
    • Add each new measure to the matrix
    • Go to formatting for the matrix
    • Expand Row Header
    • Expand Options within Row Headers
    • Toggle the buttom next to 'Switch values to rows instead of columns' to on
    • You can now conditionally format each 'row' since it is it's own measure
