Formatting differences between desktop app and published report

Hi,

I have several measures that appear correctly when the .pbix file is opened on my desktop, but when i publish the same file, the same measure used in the same visual is formatted differently. For example:

Desktop version:

qmestu_0-1677752693167.png

Public web link:

qmestu_1-1677752734856.png

There is no formatting applied to the measure, it is just defined as a whole number. What is the reason for this difference and how can i change it?

Thanks.

@qmestu , it may be because of power bi service regional setting

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/supported-languages-countries-regions#choose...

and you might have used default regional in desktop
