Formatting currency a specific way with SSAS tabular

Hi,

I am trying to get a currency in a specific format.

I want a comma as a decimal separator and a dot as a 1000 separator

As I am working with Tabular SSAS, I cannot change the regional settings in PBI.

I have now formatted the measure as custom:

In tabular the measure shows as I wish, like this:

In PBI desktop it shows the other way around again:

when published and embedded to a portal it shows like however the settings of the browser are

So if your chrome settings are like dutch, it shows correct 156.352.760,67

And if chrome settings are English (US) it shows the way I do not want it like: 156,352,760.67

Is there any way to overule this all and have a format with a euro-sign and the points as a 1000-separator and comma as a decimalseparator.

Please note, it must be done via SSAS tabular, regional settings in PBI desktop are not available with a live connection.

Thanks very much!

    Hi Niki ,

I'm afraid your requirement is not supported currently.

Based on my test, for Microsoft Edge, the number format you mentioned will change based on the Language Setting of Power BI Service.

For Google Chrome, it is based on the Language Setting of browser.

    Best Regards,

    Icey
