Formatting column - negative number to parenthesis, using data bars
Hello All,
I used Format to change negative numbers to negative numbers in parenthesis using
FORMAT('By-Region'[delta_delwages],"#,##.#0;#,##.#0)")
I am getting the correct result, however now I cannot use data bars on conditional formatting
pls help

Try using the technique described in Chelsie Eiden's Duration. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/Chelsie-Eiden-s-Duration/m-p/793639#M389
Allows you to change the display format but not the underlying data type (like FORMAT does)

If you have created a text using format then it might not work.
Try to see what best you can do in data type format
