Hello,
I'm trying to display an average of a column that is formatted as percentages AS a percentage in the card format.
I have a column with 100% or 0% by store numbers and am trying to let my client filter by store number, district, market, etc. to see the percentage that is placed in their market, district, or store; which means I have to use the average of it to display it. When I put it into the card display format, it gives me a decimal rather than a percentage even though the column is formatted as a percentage.
My data label things are:
Display unit: None
Decimal Places: 2
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Solved! Go to Solution.
What about writing a measure instead.
Placement Percentage = AVERAGE ( YourTable[Place Percentage] )
Then applying the formatting to the measure and using the measure in the card?
In the column tools of the table you can chage the format of the column to Percentage which should flow to the report.
For reference, here's my data and here's what the card shows.
Even though it is formatted to be a percentage, when showing it as an average it still displays as a decimal number.
Thanks
