Formatting Date for Matrix columns
- Anonymous2 years ago
Hi Knegge ,
lbendlin Thanks for your concern about this case!
And Knegge , Power BI does not yet support adding line breaks to achieve your desired results. If you want your data to have line breaks after ), you can either enter the line breaks as you enter the data:At this time, the line break effect will not be reflected in the Table view:
but when you put the data into the visual object, you can reflect the effect of line breaks:
Either that or you'll have to turn on Text wrap in Settings and manually set the width of each column, which you mentioned you don't want to do manually, but perhaps you'll have to with the current functionality:
Then again, as lbendlin said, please post your idea here and vote for it, and maybe sometime in the future your idea will be adopted and this feature will be realized.
Best Regards,

Hi Anonymous,
the Problem is not that the values in the matrix cant be formatted, but the column headers cant be formatted with a line break.
Is that not possible aswell?

Hi Knegge ,
Column headers are the same as values, it cant be formatted with a line break.
As I said before, you can either wrap the data as you enter it, or you can change the column width manually.
