Formatting Currency as Accounting Format ($ 10,1000)

Any ideas on how to format my numbers using the same "Accounting format" as excel?

where the $ is left aligned and the values are right aligned?
$     12,000
$       2,000
$     45,500

$            25

im sure my formatting isnt working because of Font type, but do you know what i mean?

Hi, @lewinmg

Sorry, there is no setting for the left display of the $ symbol in Power BI, for your needs, you can try to use Foramt to add a space between $ and the number, but there is no way to achieve the left display, in Power BI by default, the numbers are arranged on the right, and on the left if it is text.

For more information, you can refer to :
FORMAT function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn

And for your need , you can post your idea in this web site:

I'd like to be able to have PowerBi format the numbers like shown below for Accounting.

This is how it looks in Excel, and i need it to look like this in Power BI
