Format h.m into decimal or time

I am trying to format hours stored in h.m format that are summed for a week worth of entries into a decimal or time format.

For example table stores entries of 1h 45m and 1h 45m it shows them as 2.90 after summing the value. This would be equal to 3h 30m. I can work with the value if there is a way to conver the entry into either 3:30 or preferably 3.5 but a not sure how to tackle this.
