I have a request to format a date slicer as shown below:
This sample shows the outline of the date boxes lighter than they would like. I can't find an option to modify those borders but it seems like there must be one, you can barely see them in power BI, similar to what it looks like above.
In addition, is there really no option to label the two date fields? Do I have to float text boxes on top of each?
I would think anyone who wants date selectors without a slider would want to be able to format these basic items, so it seems like they must exist and I can't find them, but maybe not.
Any ideas?
thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,
On PBI the outline colour of the data value on the slicer is not adjustable what you can do is set the background of the Items to a grey or something similar and the Font colour to white making it pop out (or any other colors).
Regarding the labeling if I'm understanding correctly you just need to double click (or right click) the slicer Field and change the name that will change the values of the text above the slicer:

Check out my blog: Power BI em Português@MFelix Thanks for the quick reply. I'll play with the settings in your first example to see what I can come up with. In the second, we want a label over each of the boxes (start and end), so changing the field name doesn't accomplish that. I can manually lay text boxes over each selector to say start and end, but this control gets copied to many pages and keeping it all together will be cumbersome. I'm so surprised there isn't already a formatting option in place, I would think everyone would use such a feature.
thanks!
