Format Negative Percent to Brackets/Parentheses

How do you format a negative percentage using parentheses (and not the - sign)?

Example: -3% 

Want: (3%)

Use the custom format: 0%;(0%);0%

You can do this on the Modeling tab of the desktop.

1. Select the modeling tab
2. Select the field
3. Change it to a decimal format, then Custom
4. Enter the custom format above.
