Forecasting future costs by month?
I am trying to present a matrix that shows total cost per location for equipment from June 2023 to May 2024.
Here is a sample of the type of data I have. The real data has a lot more info than this. You should be able to cut and paste the below.
| Location Name | Equipment S/N | Model2 | Remove | Add | Cost per month |
| Chicago | 1 | A | 6/1/2023 | 100 | |
| Chicago | 2 | A | 9/1/2023 | 100 | |
| Chicago | 3 | A | 9/1/2023 | 100 | |
| Chicago | 4 | B | 200 | ||
| Chicago | 5 | B | 200 | ||
| Chicago | 6 | C | 9/1/2023 | 150 | |
| LA | 7 | A | 6/1/2023 | 100 | |
| LA | 8 | A | 10/1/203 | 100 | |
| LA | 9 | B | 200 | ||
| LA | 10 | B | 200 | ||
| LA | 11 | C | 10/1/2023 | 150 | |
| LA | 12 | C | 10/1/2023 | 150 | |
| Dallas | 13 | A | 10/1/2023 | 100 | |
| Dallas | 14 | B | 200 | ||
| Dallas | 15 | B | 200 | ||
| Dallas | 16 | C | 10/1/2023 | 150 |
I have a couple different models of printers and some will stay constant, some will be retired during that time frame and some will be added. I would like to create something that looks like below.

I know one way of doing this is manually buy adding a column with the month year in my Excel file, duplicating it all 12 times for each month and going from there. There are some obvious drawback besides effeciency, higher potential manual error, etc. I was hoping there was a dynamic way of doing this? Maybe through Power Query M or is this something that is not possible?
