Forced change from Filled Map to Azure Map? If so, when will this occur?
Hello,
When opening my Power BI file with a Filled Map, I get the following message: Introducing the Azure Maps visual Take advantage of heat maps, real time traffic overlays, and more map sytles with the Azure Maps visual, out new default map in Power BI. Existing Map and Filled Map visuals will be automatically converted within the year, but you can try the Azure Maps visual now. Select Updgrade maps to convert the maps in this report [Upgrade maps] [Not now].
1. Primary question: Will the Filled Map no longer be available and when will this actually occur?
I find this changover very frustrating. The Azure Map functionality and look is very inferior to the current Filled Map. I have a filled map that fills every county in the USA, the Azure Map not only looks very unprofessional, the counties will not always fully render with a fill. Please do not force this changeover to an inferior experience.
I have updated photos of the two for comaparison.

Vote For my Ideađź’ˇ Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, Microsoft's article on the subject does not give us a timeframe on this change.
I have seen many compaints regarding this switch. The Azure mapping tool is insuffient for a premier dashboard tool such as PowerBI.

Also what I wonder is the pricing, Azure maps is a cloud solution so again a pay as you go one, imagine you need to interact with your map thousands time per month, what is the pricing?
