Focus Mode / Show Data Heading wrong

For a few of my charts [I may have copied them], I am getting an incorrect value in the heading shown when you go to Focus Mode or Show Data.

Example: here are the settings for my chart (can't show the values, sorry):

You can see "Actual Tuition Fee Revenue" is the measure.

And here is what happens when I go to focus mode or show data:

Which is not in the visualisation at all...

Thanks,
Ian.

  • Hi Anonymous ,

I have tested on the latest Power BI desktop version 2.66.5376.1681 64-bit (February 2019) but not able to reproduce the issue. Please try to update Power BI desktop to the latest version as ours then test again.

    Hi v-qiuyu-msft ,

How embarrassing...I was on an old version.

    Thank you.  Works perfectly.

    Just to add to this...

If I re-build the charts, I seem to need to copy the chart for the title to correctly take.  For example, if I create a chart with a value of Headcount, then add a Legend of Ethnicity, the title when you choose Show Data or Focus Mode is just "Headcount".  If I copy the chart is does show a title when you Show Data or go to Focus Mode of "Headcount By Ethnicity".

Oddly, there is one chart which refuses to add the "By..." when I add a legend dimension.  No matter how many times I copy this chart the title when you choose Data or Focus Mode is just "Headcount".  I can't get the axis or legend to display in the Show Data or Focus Mode title.

(I also didn't realise a chart title overwrites the Show Data title automatically generated from the measures and dimensions used -- that was tripping me up)
