Hello,
We are using Power BI to analyze survey data from SurveyMonkey (using the SurveyMonkey API). So far it imports the data well. We have to unpivot a few columns in the query editor to make the survey easier to analyze in Power BI. It also continues to work as more survey responses are added, which is perfect.
The issue is that we need to make it continue to work as the survey from SurveyMonkey changes. If a question is added or removed in the survey, how would I go about making sure that is reflected in Power BI without causing errors and still providing useful visualizations? The survey has a semi-repetative format, but we are able to access and modify it if nessecary.
Thank you in advance!
Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
But maybe make sure to unpivot your question/answer columns?
