Flag data if data exists for the selected date range

Hello,

I have a products table associated with Purchase date.  Purchase date is in turn used to filter the visualization. Now if a given product was not purchased in the date range selected by the slicer, I want it to be flagged as 1 else 0 for each product. How do I achieve this?

Any help is appreciated.

Create a measure that uses the selected range of the slicer as a filter in your products mapping computation.  There cannot be a link between the slicer source and the products table in your data model.  One way to do that would be to feed the slicer from a calulated table rather than from the Dates table directly.

Hello,

The question I posted here is just a subset of my problem the solution of which I was hoping would solve my main problem listed here. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Developer/Need-help-with-finding-the-minimum-value-for-a-measure/m-...

In addition, The date is coming from calculated table.
