Hi all,
I have a powerbi report with different page Height and width(used customized page) as i had too many charts and tables.
now the issue is that when i publish the report to service it automatically zoom in to 100% irrespective of the remote zoom lenght of the report.
is there a way i can fix the zoom lenght on service so that the user can view the report in the original size.
Currently the user has to manually adjust the page
Thanks!

Hi All,
I had been trying to fix this for ever on some embedded reports and tried all kinds of embedded parameters, html, css, javascript etc.
I never realised that setting the page view/fit to width and then publishing to the workspace would retain the width setting. I "assumed" that this only affected the view in desktop.
Always learning....
Appreciate the help, problem solved.
Cheers,
Anyone got it by percentage set?
Resizing the page doesn't work for me because of the height of the page.
It would be so much easier if I could just set the page for 40% and all viewers could see this as default.
As far as i know
You can use any of following options
1-Fit to width
2-Fit to height
The best one is the first option.
You can use Fit to Width , Fit to page option and then save the report .
Next time by default it will open in that setting.
I have already set up the dashboard with custom lenght and width and with Zoom in and out i can manully adjust the view.
What i am looking for is an automated way to fix the zoom size on power bi service so that when an user opens the report the zoom is by default set to 40%
Did you figure this out? I have the same issue.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You could change the page view settings.
