Fiscal year forecasting analytics

OK, here goes...
Have your Fiscal year column as whole number.
Select the column and in the Format window type in your FY format. In my case "FY"00 to get
Even though it looks like the column is now type text, it is actually still a whole number. You can now use the column in the axis and add the forecast :
The moment I add FY to the axis, the Forecast functionality gets disabled.

Thanks, that seems to work.
Related to this, is Forecasting possible only for single series data? Our client got back asking if a Stacked Area chart could be shown with the forecasting data. Based on what I can see, it doesn't seem possible. Is Forecasting possible only in Line Graph?

I believe the only in-built forecasting option is with the line graph with a single set of data values.
You could try writing a measure though. (you will then need the date table to cover the future periods)
