Find the max value in a subcategory

I'm trying to determine the max number of responses received in a team for a particular date.

The data set is as follows: 

the resulting set needs to look as follows

try using this measure:

max = CALCULATE(MAX('Table'[Responses]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[Date]))
