I have a daily report that has history and forecast data for the hotel. This report has the current year and next years' data. The fields are report_date, history_forecast_date, total_revenue, occupancy, and ADR.
In the Power Bi desktop, I have Matrix visual. It has filters for the year (based on history_forecast_date) and report date (based on report_date). It shows data in months:
How do I find the difference between total revenue for each report_date?
This is for both years being selected. Users can select a single year as well.

I tried using the quick measure. I couldn't find the solution.
I am not well experienced with a calculated column using DAX.
This is possible in an Excel pivot table. For total_revenue field, We can go to Value Field Settings -> Show Value as (select Different from) -> Base field (select report_date) -> Base Item (select previous).
I have the link below for the Excel file for it. Instead of having two years' worth of data for each day, I have included the total of each month of the year.
