Find significant change in a row
Hi jgc ,
There could be a solution. Please download the demo from the attachment. There are many steps in the Query Editor.
Best Regards,
Thank you very much for the suggestion!
I am still new to Power BI and try to understand how the solution works:
- What does the NewIndex column do?
- Can the solution matrix be modified to not to split in columns per starting week, so that "week 4", "week 6" and "-70%" would appear in the same columns as week 2?
Thank you very much for help!

Hi jgc ,
The NewIndex groups these values that have the same trend. Then we can count the trends easily. If the count is bigger than 3, it's the one you want.
The NewIndex 2 and 4 mean there are two trends (increase/decrease). Please refer to the below image to modify the result.

Thank you very much for the further details. I tried to implement your solution with our data, but it turned out that the solution is incredibly slow. We have about 30.000 rows at the moment and the data update would take for over a day!
Any chance to get to a solution with another approach?
Thanks in advance!
