Financial Statements with Foreign Exchange

Hi,

I need to construct a set of financial statements (profit and loss / balance sheet). I have searched several forums but cannot find an anwers to my issue.

The financial data is downloaded from the ERP system on a transaction basis in the specific currency of the company.

The balance sheet accounts need to be calculated on a closing 'running total' basis per period and the P&L on a total for the period.

My powerbi report then need to be able to 'switch' between the company currency and the converted currency. For the Balance accounts it need to use the 'End of Month' EOM fx rate and for the P&L accounts use the 'AVG' fx rate.

I can provide the data if needed.
