Financial Consolidations

I'm working with a start up operation that is buying multiple operating companies.  

 

Can I use PowerBI to do financial consolidations?

    Hi,

     

    It's a bit of a broad question but power BI can be used for many aspects of financial consolidation but it will depend on what exactly you're doing so you'll need to evaluate the tool against your specific requirements.

     

    You'll be able to import data from multiple sources and use Power Query to transform the data. You can then use this to create data models for the structure of the data and perform any aggregation or calculations needed. Finally you'll be able to then visualze you data.
