Filtring by a slicer on PowerBi

I have a table with columns for 'specialitem', 'item1', 'item2', 'item3', and their respective prices. I am trying to create a slicer that, when a 'specialitem' is selected, filters a graph to display data only for that item. If 'specialitem' is not selected, the graph should show data for all items except the 'specialitem'.

I am wondering if there is a way to achieve this without using a calculated column,(in the slicer i have to take just the specialitem).

That should already be the default behaviour of the slicers, provided there is a relationship between the items column and whatever calculations you have in your graphs. Something that might make it easier for the end users is to show the select-all in the slicer, and turning off the multi-select option so that a tick will show in the box if an item is selected.
