I am wondering if there is a way to achieve this without using a calculated column,(in the slicer i have to take just the specialitem).
That should already be the default behaviour of the slicers, provided there is a relationship between the items column and whatever calculations you have in your graphs. Something that might make it easier for the end users is to show the select-all in the slicer, and turning off the multi-select option so that a tick will show in the box if an item is selected.
