Filters not working for published report

I published a report to Power BI and when accessing the report via webbrowser, the following filters do not work (Timeline, SmartFilter By SQLBI).  filter work fine in BI Desktop.

    mbs2016 There was a new update today. Contact the owners of the custom visual and check to see if they are aware of any issues.

    Hi mbs2016,

     

    Based on my test, the Timeline visual version 1.3.3 can filter the data in Power BI Service, while the latest Smart Filter by SQLBI.1.0.4 is not working in service.

     

    In your scenario, I would suggest you download the newest Timeline visual to check if it can work in your environment. And contact the author of the Smart Filter by SQLBI to get help by sending the feedback to this address: [email protected].

      Thank you for the response.

       

      I just updated to 1.3.3 and now the timeline visual does not seem to work properly in BI Desktop.  When I add the date field I’m only presented with the option to select ‘Year’… additionally  no data is being shown.

       

      Please advise.
