I am trying to recreate original dashboard in a new dashboard. It has 5 card visuals. So in the original dashboard,i saw that filters were working and enabled and as a result filters were applied by selecting or unselecting values from the dropdwon list in the filter pane for many of the visuals. But when i try to do the same in new dashboard, the filters arent coming enabled or atmost it shows less than, greater than box and that also one cant change as that too is cmg disabled. This difference in behaviour of filters i am only seeing for card visuals and not for other type of visuals like matrices, bar charts, slicers etc w.r.t original vs new dashboard.
Both the dashboards are in power bi desktop 2025 versions.

Hi @rit26,
Can you confirm whether you put the skill count in the values or categories section of the visual pane?
Thank you.
Hi @rit26,
Have you had a chance to review the solution we shared earlier? If the issue persists, feel free to reply so we can help further.
Thank you.
the issue is still not resolved as i am still unable to filter anything on the filter pane in the new dashboard and i am not using measured just columns.
Hi @rit26,
Can you confirm whether you put the skill count in the values or categories section of the visual pane?
Thank you.
have you changed the cross filter/cross highlight setting in the new report?
Note: "dashboard" means something very different in Power BI.
Can you send a screenshot showing what exactly is happening and also check if the data, calculations, measures are all fine.
first pic is of the filter pane for the slicer on the original dashboard.second pic is of the filter pane for the slicer in the new dashboard.
hi @rit26
This can be expected behavior if the count of skills is a measure. Also, I do not see that you are filtering it in your original dashboard. Additionally, the Attribute.1 filter is not visible in the filter panel of your new Card visual, which is the filter you used in the original dashboard.
