Filtering of Graphs in a specified order

Hi all,

I have a year graph, then a month of the year graph and then a day of the month graph (I prefer this to drilldown). When the client selects the year of interest then the month graph shows only the months of the selected year, when he clicks the month then the day only shows the data for the given month by day. Very cool.

The question is I dont want the filter to work backwards. That is, when they click the year, the month changes, then when they click the given month of the year, I dont want the year graph to show all the data from that month over all the years. I want the year graph not to react to the filter selected of the month. Likewise if they press the day of the month then all the months reset to show the valu of the say, 25th of each month.

Effectively I am mimicking drill down over a series of 3 graphs, "what did I do in 2018?", then "What did I do in April of 2018?", then "what did I do on the 12th of April in 2018?".

Is this possible?

Hi @duggy,

You could have a try with the feature Edit interaction under Format tab in Power BI.

Here is the document about that which will guide you how to use it.
