Filtering is not working in Field Parameters - New Feature

In Axis Slicer FP Tab, I am on State and I have clicked on 'California' bar as shared in below screenshot-

Now, Going to 'Brand', here no brand is showing as filtered to California state and bars are greyed out as showing in below screenshot-

I have further analyzed the data and can see that we have many brands available in California state.

Could you please let me know why this is happening?

Thanks for the response Rico. But I a not looking it as a workaround.

Since I have seen so many blogs and videos on Field Pramaters - feature and they said that we can use field parameter instead of bookmarks that why I wanted to know that It is possible using field parameter or not?

Hi @pinkukumar ,

As far as I know, visual with dynamic axis could only be filterd by parameters in seleted column.  This should be based on data model.

If you want to create visual with dynamic axis which is filtered by selections in other field, you may add filter in your switch query.
