Filtering in visual element?

Hi, i have a table with columns delta and amount. I want to show only the Top 5 rows ordered by amount desc but only where delta>20. Is there a way to directly achieve this in the visual element (table) or do i need to modify already the data source. This i am trying to avoid as this data source is already bound to other visual elements. Thx for you help Chris

Hi @_chris_,

Did not understand that part of the question, go to the Delta column and filter all that are above 20 even if delta is not part of your visual table you can filter the table taking that into account.

In the example below I only have 4 deltas above 20 so the list is not giving me the top 5 but 4.

This is making a simple use of the tool, you can also create some measure to make this to work, but believe that this simple soluition is better for begining to understand the filters options you have.

Hi @_chris_,

If you select the table and go to the visual filters if you select one of the columns in your table and the delta column as TOP and then filter it by the top n that you need.

See below my value column can be your delta column.

Hi Felix, thank you very much that you took the effort to create a video! I really appreciate this. However, I understand that i can filter for TOP5 by value. But where comes the rule "do this only for the ones where Delta>20" into play?
