Filtering by a card

Good Morning

I have a number of cards which are using a measure and a number of filters added using the filter pane.

I need to be able to filter a table of data based on the card visual selected.

How do i do this please.

I believe i need to add a shape over the card and use a bookmark this is what i am struggling to do.

Hi

In the end to achieve this i filtered the table to match the card and created a bookmark. I then assigned the bookmark to a button which i formatted to no fill etc. so you couldnt see it. I then put this over the card that i wanted to use to filter the table this worked.

Hello @maurcoll ,

you can filter by a measure, it should be a column so you could filter by it.

Hi @maurcoll
can share some screen shot how exactly it should work?

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

What i want to be able to do is click on the card and filter the table.

The card is a measure which is count order number then in the filter pane i have added filters of less than 20 days and completed = N.

Order NumberOrder DateCountryCompletedTime Since OrderDays
124/05/2023UKY146Over 100 Days
201/03/2023USAN230Over 200 Days
315/10/2023UKN2Less Than 20 Days
423/09/2023SpainY2420 - 50 Days
504/10/2023FranceY13Less Than 20 Days

@maurcoll,

yes this doesn't happen like that, you can't filter by the measure or by the card, you need a slicer or from the filter pane with a value of a column field.
