Filtering Options: Filter Either One Attribute OR Another One (But NOT Both)

Is it possible to allow the user to filter by either Attribute A or Attribute B but NOT both? I don't want the user to be able to filter on both Attribute A and Attribute B at the same time, but rather, I want them to pick one or the other. Is this functionality possible in Tableau? 

For further clarity, this is what I'm trying to do (but this is for Tableau). Is it possible to perform a similar operation in Power BI?

In brief,

1. All elements, such as columns/rows of viz, slicers, crossfilters, page-level filters, etc, produce filtering effects; along with some row context, they constitute the evaluation context for DAX expression calculations;
2. there are handful of filter modifiers (functions) to manipulate the evalution context for desired calculations.
