Filtered Value - counting a field multiple times

I'm trying to create a count of the Status field that I have shown below for each category: Under Construction, Presale, Complete, etc. Each is displayed 6 times in my data, so my measure is currently counting it 6 times when I create my Count measure. How can I get it to only count each row only once? Or can I get the measure to divide by 6 afterwards?


Here's my measure: 

 

Count of Status for NEW for Monday, December 31, 2018 =
CALCULATE(
    [Count of Status for NEW],
    'Data by Bedrooms'[Date] IN { DATE(2018, 12, 31) }
)

    Hi,

    You have not shared anough information.  Create a Matrix visual.  Drag Category to the row labels and Status to the column labels.  Create a slicer of month from the Calendar Table and select any one month.  Write this measure

    =COUNTROWS(Data)
