Filter values in pivot table

I trying to automate changing filter values of a pivot table based on cell selection in a different sheet. I tried several macors, but all of them prompted a run time error 1004 - " unbale to get the pivot fields property of pivot table class". How can I solve for this and are there any other way to automate this on excel.
Note : Excel connected to a data set on power BI
