Filter time based on click

I have multiple charts: one line chart and some other ones. The x-axis of the line chart represents values of time. All the charts are based on the same set of data. I now want to filter the other charts based on the point of time which I click on in the line chart. Is that possible?

TimGab to be able to do that click on the line chart and on top of power bi desktop click Visual Tools -> Edit Interactions. Then all other visuals that you want to filter simple choose filter icon for those visuals.

thanks for the answer and visualization. that generally works (I tried it with other charts), but for some reason it won't work with that one line chart. I think that it might be becaused this chart is based on a time variable but I honestly have no idea why it wont work.

        Hi TimGab,

How do you create Line Chart in your scenario? Based on my test, the issue has nothing to do with time variable. In order to filter other visuals based on the point in Line chart, you will need to add Legend to the Line chart. When you click the point in Line Chart, it will filter other visuals according to the category in Legend. Otherwise, you will not able to click Line chart to filter other charts.

        Thanks,
