Hi,
I'm new here, Could you please help me? I have problem with filtering data, I have two tables,
In 1st there is document name and document catergory
in 2nd is document name and amount to count.
Relationship is many to many, single 2nd table filters 1st
any other doesn't work
I would like to get amount splitted by months filtered by category.
Without any problem I get amount splitted by months, by I can't filter it by catategory. I tried to change relationship and directrion but nothing work
Any help will be appreciated
Thank you

Hi,
I checked data source and it's turned out document name in both spreasheets has different naming scheme, short and long, so for Power Bi there were completely different documents. My mistake, I missed it during initial data checking and I focused just on Power Bi. It was reason why filter didn't work
I think problem will be solved after change all names to one scheme

Hi @Anonymous
As you want to filter amount by category, you should modify the relationship to single 1st table filters 2nd table. And after changing all names to one scheme, if it's possible to make the document names in 1st table unique, you can modify the relationship to 1 to many. This would be better.

@Anonymous Perhaps the easiest solution would be to use a Merge step to join your two queries into a single table?
Do you have a date table? Would really need to understand your data better. Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
Hi Greg.
My appologies,
I would like to have actice bar chart of amount of documents splited by months (completet workflow send)
Bar chart filtered by slicer 'discipline' from 'Janunary 2022' table.
I created easily bar chart with amount of documents by month, all values are in one table
I can't figure out how create relantionship between tables to add slicer to filter results in bar chart
by discipline.
Only one column exist in both tables - DURF Number.
I hope it's more clear now
Thank you in advance
