I have a multi select slicer that applies to all my pages, filtering by 'Deal'. I want to keep this like this.
I have created a new page which looks in depth on a singular specific deal. I want to create a new slicer that allows the user to select a single deal, but currently when I do this, there are two problems:
1) When putting 'Deal' in, it links to the other slicer, meaning that it is either single select or multi select.
2) The slicer on this page affects the others - when I make a single selection, I have to go to the last page to reselect the remaining deals so I can see statistics for all the deals on the other page.
I have tried unselecting the advanced slider options, but to no avail.
Thank you.

I found my solution:
I simply created another column with the same values and used that in the slicer instead.

Hello @Anonymous ,
Remove the sync between this new slicer with other pages slicer.
check it here in this documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-slicers?tabs=powerbi-desktop

This is not working because I am using the same piece of data, so when I drag it into my new filter, it automatically has the same slicer settings as the original.
