Hi
I need some help with DAX formula and filtering.
I have a simple model: 1 lookup table and 1 fact table of renovation data.
Lookup table : ‘Buildings’ - building ID
Fact table: ‘Renovations’ – building ID, renovation ID, start date, end date
Each renovation has a renovation ID.
A renovation can have one or more sets of activities i.e. – multiple start and end dates.
A building can have one or more renovations.
I need to determine the current status of a renovation based on the report date i.e. - current, historical or planned.
The logic is:
Some of the formula seem to work OK but as soon as I filter my table with Building[building ID] the results are wrong. I have attached an example file with various tables.
Can someone explain what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
PS I have not attached the file yet as I'm trying to find the 'reply' option
