The data types in your search fields should match the data types in the tables that are linked to them. Data types that don't match up can make screening harder.
Watch out for Filtering Direction:
Check the way of your relationship filtering. If you want filters to move between linked tables, you might need to set the direction of the filters to both.
Check the data:
Please make sure that none of the fields used for screening are empty or missing values. When material is missing, it can cause surprises in how the filter works.
To change the situation:
Get to know DAX context shift. Power BI filters work based on the situation. Check your estimated and measured columns for filters that make sense in this situation.
How to set up Cross-Filtering:
Setting for relationship cross-filtering. It's possible for cross-filtering to go either way. Check to see if it works for you.
Try Out Different Images:
Try using different images to see if the problem still exists. Some images may behave differently because of how they handle data.
Find Measures That Aren't Explicit:
Look for hidden controls that might have an impact on screening. Make sure your methods are clear so that they work.
Improving the Data Model:
Streamlining your complicated data model might help. When data models are too complicated, they can lead to strange behavior.
Improve Power BI:
Up-to-date Power BI Desktop. Updates for software can sometimes solve problems.
If you carefully look at how your data model is set up and follow these steps, you should be able to fix Power BI Matrix table filters not showing choices. McDFoodForThoughts
